Premise 17 begins at 一座不在地图上的中转站, where 不肯继承旧身份的奇幻职业者 notices that 异世界 has moved closer overnight.
Two rules govern this place. First: 魔法契约必须等价交换. Second: 没有人能同时拥有答案和原来的身份. Nobody agrees on who wrote them down.
The door opens before the warning can be folded away. Someone on the other side knows the protagonist's former name and has brought proof that the central story everyone believes is incomplete.
